She is certified in Oncology Massage and is a Certified Aromatherapist and uses Young Living therapeutic-grade essential oils for their concentrated health benefits as a great compliment to her massage services. She trained in nutrition studies at Colorado State University, Queensland University in Australia, and with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, completing her certification as an Integrative Nutritional Health Coach.
She specializes in pre and post-surgery recovery, scar healing and releasing adhesions using manual techniques, supporting detox and immune health, releasing tight muscles and relieving stress using Swedish Massage and Trigger Point Therapy and TMJ release in her practice.
Heather’s wellness journey started as a young child who was always sick and being given antibiotics on a regular basis. Her teenage diet consisted of pizza, ramen, mac-n-cheese, twinkies and soda pop which led to a perpetually weakened immune system and bad acne. She discovered a passion for nutrition in college which led, naturally, to a lifelong study of nutrition and natural health, first learning that food should be our preventative medicine and that every cell of the body uses the information from food to rebuild a new you. Adopting the "You put junk in you will receive sickness and weakness, you put healthy, real food in, you will express health, energy and have a more quality life" philosophy.
After having her 4 children and having elected to have breast implants, she found herself struggling with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, Hashimoto's hypothyroidism, weight gain, parasites, Epstein Barr Virus, CMV, foggy head, bad memory, extreme weakness, heavy metal toxicity and chemical sensitivities, among many other things. Once she learned of breast implant illness and its symptoms, many of which she was experiencing, she elected to explant and learn how to recover her health naturally. For many years she studied and worked through many detox methods finding what was most effective at an affordable price which could be done simply within her busy lifestyle. This led her to learning the importance of cleansing and supporting her body’s systems to detox properly in correct order to improve quality of health. Massage was an important part of her recovery, which led her to study this modality and add it to her nutritional health coaching practice as an important tool to help others cleanse, de-stress, reset and improve function as she had. She is now full of energy, free of the toxins and parasites, clear headed and has regained her quality of life. Her primary goals and desires are to help others discover these same benefits and experience essential vitality, and she passionately shares this expertise with her clients through massage, detox support and health coaching!
Her mission is: To Educate, Empower, and Assist towards a lifetime of health and vitality!
